Spirelli is a brand name, but it is the generic article I should really refer to. If I only knew what to call it: a spiral cutter, maybe?
My spiral cutter has two ends with different blades. One cuts finer than the other. The firmer the vegetable, the smaller you can generally cut it. So I cut cucumber and zucchini with the coarser blade, and carrot with the finer blade.
